Lokito create a modern-day cocktail of two of the great world musics; Fusing \nblistering contemporary Congolese grooves with the fire of Cuban music.The results \nhave audiences dancing in a haze of energy. \nThe glorious melodious vocals of Congolese front men Kas Kasongo and Iddo \nDonnatella blends with soaring guitars courtesy of Kenyan rising star Shama Shah\, and \nthe lilting keyboards of Latin piano player Sara. All of this sits on top of the rhythmic \npowerhouse team of Ladi Mbala (rhythm guitar)\, Raphael (drums)\, Lilli (congas) and Jimmy (bass). When the occasion allows we add a blistering 3 piece horn section: Clare Hirst (Sax)\, Landy Díaz (trombone) and Shanti Jayasinha (Trumpet). \nBased in London\, STiRZ creates an array of Bass Music ballistics STiRring up home-grown samples in a melting pot of cutting rhythms\, fat bouncy bass and original flavours. A Jungle Drummer and core member of UK festival juggernaughts\, SLAMBOREE\, Charlie STiRZaker is heavily influenced by the UK’s plethora of dirty electronic sounds; DnB\, Glitch-Hop\, Breaks\, Dub-Step\, House\, Techno and Garage (to name a few).
