DESCRIPTION:Get your tickets here!!! \nOur resident DJ Richio Suzuki playing all night long through disco\, house\, hip hop\, soul\, funk\, reggae\, remixes\, edits & curveballs\n\n\nDJ Richio Suzuki has spent nearly 40 years on the club\, weekender\, festival & party scene\, worldwide! He currently hosts several events including\, Hawaiian Bop\, Mellow Mellow right on\, Version Excursion\, Music is my sanctuary and Diggin’. \nHe favours vinyl DJ sets of 50’s and 60’s Rock ’n’ Roll\, Vintage R ’n’ B\, Soul\, Funk\, Jazz\, Disco\, Reggae\, Ska\, Old Skool Hip Hop\, Classic House\, Cool 80’s Pop\, Eclectic and Balearic grooves depending on the venue or event. He can also play CD and USB sets but will never use a controller and computer! \nRichio has a monthly show on Totally Wired Radio Run by Eddie Piller from Acid Jazz label. Live Show\, first Friday of every month 2pm – 4pm \nRichio grew up in the north of England where he was a dancer and young DJ on the Northern soul\, Jazz\, Funk and Soul scene and became heavily involved with the early organisation of the Southport weekender. Richio moved to London\, aged 21 and got involved with pirate radio and the house and rave scene\, DJ’ing at Clubs such as Club UK. At this time the Southport weekender embraced house music and Richio had his own room of techno and house as well as playing other weekenders alongside the likes of Fabio and Grooverider and Carl Cox. \n  \nBy 1995 everyone was a house DJ and Richio was asked to play the back room at Ministry of Sound where he was asked to play anything but house. This led to Richio DJ’ing at some of the most exclusive bars\, hotels and private events in London. He had a variety of weekly residencies in the best hotel and upmarket bars in London\, including the Metropolitan\, St Martin’s Lane\, the Sanderson\, the Hoxton and most recently the Ned\, Langans and Kettners. \nRichio has been involved with a number of Festivals such as Love Box\, Standon Calling and Lattitude where he hosted his Hawaiian Bop in the Woods. DJ Bookings abroad include\, Japan\,Thailand (Millennium)\, Bahrain\, Ibiza\, France\, Italy\, Belgium\, Denmark and Luxembourg. Richio moved to Margate six years ago where he has played at Dreamland and the Margate Soul Festival amongst others\, he is also currently resident DJ at Love Cafe\, Margate. \nIn recent years Richio has held down various residencies in London\, currently these include regular sets at Louche and Kettner’s in Soho\, Langan’s in Mayfair\, Hwk in Hackney Wick\, Old Street Records in Shoreditch\, Ninth Life\, Stratford Hotel\, CLF Art Lounge\, Peckham Rye\, as well as sets at South London Soul Train events and many other events and venues all over the UK and abroad. \nBookings abroad have included\, IBIZA SOUL WEEK\, coming up soon\, MODCAST in MALLORCA and Cannes festival of Culture plus sets in Czech Republic (Prague) and several other European cities. DJ Tour of Japan to be confirmed for 2022. Life is a journey & music takes Richio on a rollercoaster ride! \nRichio will never retire from his DJ life!
