The hardest-working band in town\, they’ve played roughly 1400 shows\, criss- crossing the continent in the process.  \n \nLed by the redoubtable Jaz Delorean\, with João Mello on sax and vocals\, Dan Hipkin on bass\, Jack Price on guitar\, Jay Shaw on drums\, the band have scored numerous highs\, building an astonishingly loyal fanbase in the process. They’re a deeply theatrical endeavour\, akin to shows by Tom Waits or the Sensational Alex Harvey Band\, but with a modern twist\, reminiscent of the raw power of The Fat White Family or Cage The Elephant\, inviting people into a counter cultural realm for one-night-only. With a work-rate that far out-strips their peers\, the band have created a community that could rival that of the Grateful Dead\, building their audience show by show.  \n“There’s no computers\,” Jaz says. “It’s a group of musicians playing because those songs are inside them\, and they’ve got to get them out. It’s not some sanitised space.” After a decade of non-stop travel\, new album Valley of Distraction is a moment of pause\, their most focussed and intentional record yet\, it’s a sign that the storms of the pandemic could never sink their ambitions. The album was produced alongside Jim Sclavunos\, known for his seminal work with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Grinderman. An astonishing feat of storytelling\, it’s a record that thrives on community. \n \n“I can see the appeal!” – Eugene Hütz (Gogol Bordello) \n \nMango Django \nDJ Joy Alarm and DJ Applecore have spent a decade each moving crowds on festival dancefloors\, all the while soaking up the sounds of a thousand cultures like a pair of musical sponges. DESCRIPTION:Get your tickets here!!! \nMr C and Miss C bring out all the Freqs and friends with an incredible night of the best in underground dance music\n\n\nRichard West aka Mr.C started MCing in London clubs aged 16 and soon earned a reputation as a fast talking\, vivacious rapper. 1987 Richard quit his milkman job and took to the decks. He has since organized\, promoted and been resident DJ at a whole host of rave and club venues for over 3 decades now\, including Fantasy\, Drop\, Superfreq and at his legendary very own club\, The End. \n \nMr.C is best known as front man\, songwriter and producer of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 UK hits including Move Any Mountain\, Love Sex Intelligence\, Boss Drum\, Phorever People and the UK number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode. These hits were hits the world over. The Shamen album Boss Drum went double platinum in the UK and Richard also won a highly coveted Ivor Novelo for Songwriters of the year UK in 1992/93. \n \nMiss C plays a no-nonsense\, infectious style of house music that ranges from \ndeep to soulful to jacking to tech & all variations in between. Her tight mixing & \nability to read crowds gives Chloe a command of vibes when spinning that not \nmany people have. You can tell what a joker she is in her sets as they can become \nvery mischievous indeed. \n \nGrowing up living in the same house as the KLF & being around the Orb & \nAdamski was always going to have an impact on Chloe as a child\, so it was no \nsurprise when at 16 she started MCing at under 18s kids events with huge DJ \nnames like Mickey Finn\, Nicky Blackmarket\, Darren J & others calling herself \nMiss MC.
