DESCRIPTION:Anyone interested in contemporary British blues/roots music will be aware of Errol Linton. The Brixton born\, raised and resident singer\, harmonica player and songwriter has earned his spurs as leader of the most dynamic live band in the UK – Linton and band take the stage night after night\, making music that gets audiences dancing and cheering. This is the funky stuff\, blues with a reggae tinge and jazz flavours. Black British music with roots in Mississippi and New Orleans\, Kingston and London. Linton creates a dynamic\, original sound like no other artist anywhere. \nLinton started out busking and\, for years\, played in the London underground for tips. At the same time he led a band who played pubs and clubs\, shebeens and parties\, winning fans night after night. Now that reputation is worldwide – Linton won the UK Blues Challenge 2023 and represented the UK Blues Federation both at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis\, USA\, and the European Blues Challenge in Braga\, Portugal. The band regularly play in Belgium\, Holland\, France\, Spain and Poland\, have appeared at Glastonbury and Wilderness festivals.  \nCerys Matthews\, Robert Elms and David Freeman have all championed Errol on their radio shows\, while The Guardian described Linton as the figurehead for contemporary British blues. \nAfter 30 years in the game\, Errol could coast on his reputation – and that of his superb band – drummer Kenrick Rowe and double bassist Lance Rose are in demand players\, regularly working with top reggae\, jazz\, 2-Tone and rock outfits. Big Pollo has been reaching fans all over the globe with their new sound with a wide reference of King of funk James brown meets Chacalon\, The Pharaoh of Cumbia in a Latin-Parliament-Funkadelic futuristic world. \n \nBig Pollo is a Peruvian band formed in 2005 by Tato Elera & Milky Fresh joined this 20 years UK Tour by brothers Pepe & Bruno Timarchi. Their sound “Chichafunky” mixes Funk with Peruvian Cumbia. In 2008 they published their first album “El Big Pollo Funk”. In 2012 they release their 2nd LP “Habla”. In 2013 they toured for the first time the US and share stage with mexican band Molotov in Lima. In 2014 they tour again the US for the Smashington Music And Arts Fest in Orlando\, Florida. During 2015 and 2021 they release two more album “Nuestro Mundo” and “Salud\, Dinero y Amor”. \n \nIn august 2022 Big Pollo started the Funkydelia European Tour\, their first EU tour in Austria\, Czech Republic\, Germany\, Switzerland and Spain.
