Their sound “Chichafunky” mixes Funk with Peruvian Cumbia. In 2008 they published their first album “El Big Pollo Funk”. In 2012 they release their 2nd LP “Habla”. Nick set up the XL and Positiva labels becoming one of the UK most respected dance and electronic music industry executives. \nPaul Dakeyne is a DJ/Producer who has dedicated over three decades of his life to electronic music production and DJ’ing. For seven years he toured globally as a ‘Ministry of Sound’ resident DJ and has played sets for U2 and Kraftwerk. Although remixing around 250 records in his career\, Paul landed one of dance music’s seminal crossover moments with his 1994\, Tinman\, “18 Strings” global hit. Into the 00s\, he also wrote and produced music for major BBC TV shows\, worked in A&R for Mercury Records and created mash-up mixes for BBC Radio 1.
