Nick set up the XL and Positiva labels becoming one of the UK most respected dance and electronic music industry executives. \nPaul Dakeyne is a DJ/Producer who has dedicated over three decades of his life to electronic music production and DJ’ing. For seven years he toured globally as a ‘Ministry of Sound’ resident DJ and has played sets for U2 and Kraftwerk. Although remixing around 250 records in his career\, Paul landed one of dance music’s seminal crossover moments with his 1994\, Tinman\, “18 Strings” global hit. Into the 00s\, he also wrote and produced music for major BBC TV shows\, worked in A&R for Mercury Records and created mash-up mixes for BBC Radio 1.

He passed away in early September 2025. He was a respected artist\, musician\, father\, husband\, and son who was a key figure in the London Latin music community.  \n \nThe show will be performed by his friends\, some of the most recognized UK top latin bands & musicians based in London\, to remember his musical life and memories with wonderful songs. A special tribute to latin music and his musical contribution and legacy in the UK to remember with joy and dancing in a wonderful parranda full of Cumbia\, Vallenato alongside traditional latin American and Colombian rhythms. He has since organized\, promoted and been resident DJ at a whole host of rave and club venues for over 3 decades now\, including Fantasy\, Drop\, Superfreq and at his legendary very own club\, The End. \n \nMr.C is best known as front man\, songwriter and producer of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 UK hits including Move Any Mountain\, Love Sex Intelligence\, Boss Drum\, Phorever People and the UK number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode. These hits were hits the world over. The Shamen album Boss Drum went double platinum in the UK and Richard also won a highly coveted Ivor Novelo for Songwriters of the year UK in 1992/93. \n \nMiss C \n \nMiss C plays a no-nonsense\, infectious style of house music that ranges from \ndeep to soulful to jacking to tech & all variations in between. Her tight mixing & \nability to read crowds gives Chloe a command of vibes when spinning that not \nmany people have. You can tell what a joker she is in her sets as they can become \nvery mischievous indeed. \n \nGrowing up living in the same house as the KLF & being around the Orb & \nAdamski was always going to have an impact on Chloe as a child\, so it was no \nsurprise when at 16 she started MCing at under 18s kids events with huge DJ \nnames like Mickey Finn\, Nicky Blackmarket\, Darren J & others calling herself \nMiss MC.
