Join us for our musical journey of rhythms next 19th November and every third Thursday of the month at Casa del Ritmo showcasing some of the best latin rhythms and emerging Latin acts London offers for FREE.
We introduce you THIS IS LATIN FUNK! a mix of alternative rock, grunge, hip hop and punk attitude with raw, hypnotic cumbia, reggae, salsa vibes and Peruvian chicha guitar riffs. A blend Latin rock vibes, punk-rock drive, and ska-infused rhythms into upbeat and alternative crossover genres that merge traditional tropical rhythms with urban grit, syncopated basslines, and DIY rock energy. Latin Funk is a vibrant hybrid musical style that combines the heavy backbeats and syncopated grooves of American funk and soul with Afro-Latin and Caribbean rhythms. We welcome Jurgi Ibarretxe from Radio Revolucion, Las Chicharras members and more special guesst to join our Casa del ritmo house band to get everyone into the Latin funk mood. Join us and bring your own feeling and musical instrument to Jam with us afterwards.
