Connorfest – Half a Century of Good times celeration ft an epic line up
December 5 @ 7:30 pm - December 6 @ 2:00 am
HALF A CENTURY OF GOOD TIMES
Saturday 5 December | The Magic Garden
A full-throttle celebration of the music, DJs and characters that have shaped The Magic Garden over the years, bringing together a gloriously mixed bag of live funk, soul, disco, New Orleans jazz, blues, dubstep, drum & bass, electro, breakbeat, bass and late-night dancefloor sounds.
Live on stage, Clapping For Strangers serve up a high-octane cocktail of soul, funk and disco, packed with big vocals, brass, beats and bass. Jaz Delorean Band, led by the charismatic Tankus frontman, brings a wildly eclectic mix of New Orleans jazz and blues, bar-room piano, gravelly vocals, storytelling and serious keys wizardry.
Behind the decks, expect a journey through the many sounds that have filled The Magic Garden dancefloor. The line-up features warm up jolly sets from an array of our friends followed by bass-heavy sets from Wreckage, electro, bass house and breakbeat from Mini Da Minx, Pete Bennett, plus DJs Arlo, Daywalker, Emma Pitfield, Bloomers, Frankie Prendergast and more across two rooms.
