The glorious melodious vocals of Congolese front men Kas Kasongo and Iddo

Donnatella blends with soaring guitars courtesy of Kenyan rising star Shama Shah, and

the lilting keyboards of Latin piano player Sara. All of this sits on top of the rhythmic

powerhouse team of Ladi Mbala (rhythm guitar), Raphael (drums), Lilli (congas) and Jimmy (bass). When the occasion allows we add a blistering 3 piece horn section: Clare Hirst (Sax), Landy Díaz (trombone) and Shanti Jayasinha (Trumpet).

Based in London, STiRZ creates an array of Bass Music ballistics STiRring up home-grown samples in a melting pot of cutting rhythms, fat bouncy bass and original flavours. A Jungle Drummer and core member of UK festival juggernaughts, SLAMBOREE, Charlie STiRZaker is heavily influenced by the UK’s plethora of dirty electronic sounds; DnB, Glitch-Hop, Breaks, Dub-Step, House, Techno and Garage (to name a few). His high-performance DJ sets combine fun, intelligent mashups with live drumming, scratching and a host of vibing vocalists from his home spun productions.
