Formed in London in 1982, Roman Holliday emerged as one of the UK’s most distinctive early-80s pop acts, blending swing, jazz, and new-wave pop with sharp songwriting and high-energy live performances. Championed early by John Peel, the band quickly built a strong following through their charismatic live show, trademark brass-driven sound, and witty, melodic songs.
The current line-up features Jon Durno (bass and lead vocals), Joe Newbon (guitar and vocals), Adrian York (keyboards and vocals), Simon Cohen (drums), and a brass section.
