World Music Method Presents Salim Akki & Abdelillah
March 23 @ 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm

Salim Akki is a Moroccan drummer, living through rhythm and groove. His drums carry the heartbeat of his country, the deep pulse of Gnawa.
One day, he met Abdelillah, a guembri player and singer from Arfoud Brothers & Sisters. From the first jam, they felt it, that connection you don’t plan, you just feel.
Abdelillah’s guembri spoke in deep, ancestral tones. Salim’s drums answered. Then their voices rose over the rhythm, raw and full of African soul.
What started as simple vibes between friends became something powerful. Drums and guembri, voice and groove, tradition meeting energy.
Now when Salim Akki and Abdelillah play together, they don’t just perform. They create a journey. A dance. A Moroccan story told through rhythm and spirit.
From the desert roots to the stage lights – this is their sound.
